The Value of Exploring Skilled Trades at the GLOW With Your Hands Event



Hear from Luke Kantor, Admissions Counselor for Iroquois Job Corps, about how students can learn about skilled trades. This can be an alternative to college. Student can pursue skilled trades, healthcare CNA or LPN, among 70 other professions. He also speaks about the value of GLOW with Your Hands as an opportunity to show young people career options and career pathways. Job Corps students from the masonry and carpentry programs demonstrated skills and involved younger students in trying out their trades. Job Corps is national residential education and job training program for young adults ages 16–24.
